Default Question about an Al Simmons bat....

Hey guys, can anyone tell me if this Al Simmons bat is rare/desirable/collectible? Also if anyone has a ballpark value and a year it would help also.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

PS -it is for sale if anyone wants to make me an offer.

Is the center brand labeling "backwards" as opposed to normal? i.e. wouldn't the text normally run from knob to barrel?

I thought that was really weird too. I've never seen the stamping in that direction either.
