Yes it is better to have the coating. I peeled most of mine mainly football. In my last post the Mays and Mantle are not peeled because I had them in screw downs and didn’t want to open them up to peel them.

After peeling them there was a weird smell that I loved for some reason. I would buy packs just to peel them, I would even peel my friends cards lol.

The coating does not effect the grade with or with out but but there is a premium for the coating to remain unpeeled.
