FS-Very Cool 1909 Savannah GA Indians team photo With Shoeless Joe Jackson. This is Joe's second appearance in a professional uniform... He played in 1908 with Greenville, had and had a brief stint with the Athletics... Mack had him start the 09 season with the Indians to get some seasoning...
Whats more interesting to me about this one is that Joe apparently took a liking to Savannah... After being banned from baseball he moved to Savannah where he lived in a modest home, and made a living running a dry cleaning business Page is cut from a 1910 reach guide and is matted and framed (with dust backing and hanging hardware).
