Oddball Poses

Jason's post of his T210 on the most recent pickup thread prompted me to think of cards with poses that are truly strange. Here's my "Most Odd". Let's see yours. |

--Any card picturing Hughie Jennings doing that dance is bound to be odd. |

Gedeon was banned for life, and is a nearly-impossible signature to locate. The one in my collection is the only one I have encountered. He's just not out there. |

Billy Martin's 1972 Topps card always makes me chuckle. |

The funny part of the Billy Martin card is that he probably did it intentionally to see if he could get away with it. |

Actually, Billy Martin not only did it on purpose, he did it to get back at Topps. The story is that the Topps photographer had been bothering Martin at practice all day and when it came time for his pictures, he simply extended his middle finger down the bat he was leaning on to let Topps know how he felt. |

but I can't lay claim to it's discovery. I think it was Joe D. who first posted it. I could be mistaken. |

Before Billy Martin pointed his middle finger down the bat there was (I think) Hoss Radburn doing the bird on an OJ! |
