My brother had a similarly (not famous though) tumultuous life. He passed away 3 yrs ago in the month of his 50th birthday, suddenly. I see so many similarities it's not funny. Live hard, die young..... RIP Whitney....

Wasn't it Whitney who sang that stirring National Anthem at the 1991 Superbowl? I read her obituary today but saw no mention of it. Her life took a downward spiral, and it ended tragically. Yes, very sad.

Default Anthem

Yes, it was. It was during the first Gulf War and it was well done by her. And my Giants won the game making it extra special. She had a great voice and died too soon.
