Default t207 Lewis

Posted By: Sammy

Hi,
I heard that there are two variations on t207 Lewis. What are they? I have one copy but not sure it is the more expensive one or just a common. Can someone post some scans here?

It comes with adn without the Brave emblem on the uniform. If I remember correctly, neither one is considered any tougher than the other. sorry, no scans available from me.

If you paid less than $1000 for it and it is in one piece, you probably bought a reprint. Neither one is a common, they are the two most expensive cards in the set although I don't think either is the rarest of the cards in the set, but that's debatable. One Irving Lewis has an emblem on the arm, the other doesn't. Also be sure the card you have idsn't Duffy Lewis, who IS a common and is also in the set. If you have a real Irving Lewis, the back will be either a Red Cross, Red Cycle, Broadleaf or Anonymous, not a Recruit or Napoleon or one saying "this is one of the rarest cards in the set," a back which has tricked some collectors of this set who didn't know any better.
