Default '48 World Series ring presentation box

Wanted to share a pick-up that's been on my want list for a long time.

Ever since I bought a 1948 Indians World Series ring in November 2001, I've been looking for a presentation box that came with the rings. The only one I'd ever seen offered at auction was by Leland's in the early 1990s, but I passed on that one because I didn't own a ring yet. This box pretty much fell into my lap. It didn't have the inset on which the ring rests, but a piece of Styrofoam cut to fit and then covered in velvet solved that problem.

I get a real kick seeing the ring displayed this way.

That is fantastic.
You would never know the insert wasn't original.
Congrats.

Awesome Rob, very cool. It's always nice to get a long sought after piece.

That looks wicked sick!

Oooops . . . I guess I've been listening to my son too much.

That makes for a beautiful and impressive display. Very nice!

Thanks for sharing.

The ring alone would we great, but it makes for an outstanding display with the presentation box. That's fantastic!
