Default How can this be real?

http://cgi.ebay.com/PSA-DNA-Lou-Gehr...item1e5c6946a8

Was Lou unconscious when he "signed" that? How can that be real, honestly?

Same here. same seller

I checked PSA. both come up "Authentic" but no picture at this time...

They are both good; they are rushed, "ballpark" signatures.

By 1938-39, Gehrig had gotten very sloppy with his rushed signature. Admittedly, that album page leaves much to be desired from an aesthetic standpoint.

Definitely very late career signatures, almost certainly in a crowd of kids/fans when he had to sign a few dozen in a row. It is interesting how it took about fifteen years for Gehrig to come up with a "quickie" signature. You don't see this style of Gehrig until the late 1930's. It took guys like A-Rod less than five years to develop the one-second scrawl.
