I think this is Lefty O'Doul's final card.

I picked up a Joe Astroth 1952 Bowman yesterday at the Shriner's Auditorium show.

Kind of an ugly duckling set but it does have some unique poses. This one is not unique but the Ebbets Field background is nice.

Phil -- About the Hostess: I don't know much about them. I imagine it's from a box. Why only a 40? Uneven cut? If so, that seems sort of harsh.

Dave -- I have a soft spot for Berk Ross regardless of their terrible printing method. Not sure why but maybe because it was, at least, an attempt to put some really good contemporary players together in a set. One can only dream about what that set could have been with some extra dollars behind it. Like a condensed '53 Bowman in minature, maybe? Well, maybe not quite, but still...

Paul:

The cut is good, there was some minor paper loss on one spot on the back of the panel.
