All of those long TD bombs that Foles was able to toss in the Championship Game are most likely going to disappear this Sunday. The Vikes gave him way too much time to throw. You could've watched an entire episode of Laverne & Shirley in the time between when the center snapped the ball and when Nick ultimately threw it. I am sure Belichick is all over that and is going to have his DC pressure the hell out of him.

But that's neither here nor there...let's go Iggles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there will be a pick six by the Patriots, early in the game.

I am surprised at how many believe the Eagles will win the game.

Help me out.

I can think of any number of reasons why NE will win, but have no answers why Philly will.

What am I missing with the Eagles?

Philly can win this game and you can bet Brady/Belichick and the rest of the "vets" are making sure the entire locker room knows it. Philly is a balanced team on both sides of the ball and can control major minutes (scoring or not) with their run game. That said, still feel N E will get theirs at score 28 or so points. I M O the biggest "wild card" will be how Foles plays. If he`s accurate and takes advantage of scoring drives this game should be competitive all 4 quarters. Being a Pats fan they do have one major thing going for them, they are relatively healthy at least on the Off. side of the ball. Should be a fun game, I`m going Pats 30 Eagles 26. P S that 0 6 square would make me VERY happy ! Enjoy the game boys !!!!!

If Belichick does not have tapes, info, or anything else, and the refs are not a factor and the game is played ..... Eagles roll em 33-16

Brady won his last Super Bowl against the birds of the falcon persuasion

Foles is going to Walt Disney World

There is nothing being missed with the Eagles. Most of it, including my 'prediction,' is based on hope. We just can't help hating the Pats. Without question, they are truly a great team, but I'm hoping the Iggles run game gets going and their big 'D' goes after Brady like a monsoon hitting a tiny atoll.

with Carson Wentz, the Eagles were the most complete team in football. Foles has done very well in the games that mattered. His rust is off, and Chip Kelly should never have traded him in the first place. He had 40 TDs and 10 picks in under 25 games, gets hurt, loses his job to Vick and then gets traded to Jeff Fisher. Foles is a very, very good QB

NE should win this game. This Philadelphia defense may be the toughest D they have faced in a Super Bowl. The Eagles match up well with the Pats, and Cox and Jernigan could have a field day if Brady decides to look deep.

The Brady success has got to end soon, right??

For me the Patriots looked vulnerable against Jacksonville. Philly has a much better offense than Jacksonville and Eagles D was ranked fourth this year. I feel like it's their year Wentz or not.

I agree. Jacksonville should have won the game by 10 points.

Wentz has the IT factor. Foles does not. I would like Philly if Wentz were playing and healthy.

I'm predicting a lousy game and the most poorly watched Super Bowl in 25 years. Capping a season of dwindling interest in pro football.

I am hoping for the Eagles to win - don't care how or by how much.

But, for my pick 'em league, I picked Pats 37-10 in not only the coldest Super Bowl ever, but the most boring.

The Eagles are a complete team. The Pats are a one man show. Without Brady, no way are the Pats even a playoff contender, let alone a Super Bowl contender. The Eagles beat the Pats with a back up QB. Foiles looked amazing. I would have liked the Eagles to have played better D, but the D stepped up when it really mattered.

For me the key was that NE played very unimaginative defense and did not adjust at all as the game went on. They basically just sat back in coverage and gave Foles all the time in the world to complete mostly short to medium passes. I don't recall a single third down stop until the final FG. Granted the Eagles have a great front line, and obviously that's a big part of it, but NE needed to do something at least to try to disrupt his rhythm but did not. I thought NE did well to stay competitive despite the poor defense and kicking glitches.
