I'm sure you're right. Being inducted into the Reds HOF is certainly a lightning rod for investors everywhere. You see what it's done for the cards of Pedro Borbon and Ron Oester.

Those guys are great!.

but in theory...getting small acceptance..could lead to bigger acceptance.


if you remember it was a huge deal just for pete rose to be part of an MLB activity years ago....that was the first step....then later now hes in the Reds HOF....

I wouldn't count any love for PR from MLB anytime soon.

And of course that is entirely Pete's fault.

They won't re-instate him while he was alive. He lied too many times and too many people blame his scandal and the stress it caused for Bart Giamatti's death.

If Rose had kept his yap shut , taken his whoopin and sat around being nice, he'd probably have been let back in already.
