Default 1939 Centennial glove box Bill Jurges help

I trying to find out some information about this box
I’m trying to find out if there is a way to see who the manufacture of the glove is
Is there a way to cross reference the model # on the box with a manufacturer.
I have conversed with Steve K. (1939baseball.com) and he gave me some great info about the game and rarity of the box. (Thanks Steve)

You must not have looked too hard. When I Googled "Jurges Centennial glove" one of the first items that came up was a glove and box that was in a Hunts auction. The description says the glove was made by Marathon and the box looks like yours.

David

PS. It is lot 180A.

Wow Thanks,
I spent about 2 hours on it and came up with nothing.
Thanks again

That is correct. The 60- prefix was Marathon or Montgomery Wards. They made some cool picture boxes. Here's what the glove looks like.
