Default Three 1915 CJs

https://www.ebay.com/itm/17460683420...YAAOSwyIlekShm

All 3 are historically fantastic, the Connie Mack is SGC graded, the other 2 (Jack Barry and Stuffy McInnis) look authentic also, and the $825 BIN seems insanely low to me. What am I not seeing here?

Seems a bit high to me, but I could be wrong.

You aren't.
I just hope the OP isn't the seller .

The Mack is maybe a $350-450 card (a SGC 3 sold for $400 in November). The Barry and McInnis both have tape damage and are maybe in the $60-80 range raw?

Agree that the asking price is high.

Yeah, I know I'm not.

I almost referenced the OP being the seller with one of my typically snarky posts, but I'm trying to be a nicer person these days.

I am the OP. I am asking because I admit I don't know $%&@ from Shinola when it comes to Cracker Jacks. When I look at all the other authentic 1914 and 15 Cracker Jack cards for sale, tape damage aside, I am not seeing ANY for $60 to $80, and the only other Connie Mack is way over $400. So again I ask, what am I missing?

Hi jingram - What you're missing is that all the other listings you're seeing are way overpriced. If you want a realistic view of the market, you have to look at prices from actual sales, not eBay asking prices.

eBay completed sales can be helpful, and there are a few sites such as vintagecardprices.com that have historical sale data for graded cards. Not all of it is accurate or reliable, but you can't judge market value by asking prices.

Recent eBay completed sales show similar-condition raw commons in the $35-80 range, and a recent SGC 4 Mack at $600.

Thanks, I understand asking vs sold for, but, again, I am seeing sold fors going for more than what you guys are saying. And even as green as I obviously am, I haven't and wouldn't buy any truly collectible cards off of eBay. I guess this forum and face to face events are how to buy cards.

Keep in mind that 14's are about double the price of 15's.
