Default 2 Ted W. items for discussion.......

I've had these both for several years and feel pretty good about the faded one, but am really looking for thoughts on the more colorful image. The photo is pretty beat up but the ink looks to be black fountain pen ink. I suppose it is possibly stamped but I just don't think it is. I like the "Williams" on this one but the "T" is causing me pause. If real, it is an early career autograph. Any thoughts on these, again in particular the non-photo. Thanks!!

Second one is a stamp.

The signature on the color photo is clearly a rubber stamp. 100%

I can't see enough of the signature on the BW photo to venture an opinion.

I never bothered to get an example, but the rubber stamp might be a sort of autograph.

At one point in the late 70's early 80's he was at Fenway a lot, special batting coach? Something like that.

For autograph hunters, he would ask for a donation to the Jimmy Fund, and if someone declined but still insisted on a signature he'd go for the rubber stamp he carried.
I think he was a bit less mercenary with kids, and generally the amount he wanted was small anyway, like $5 or 10?

Now the question is if its that rubber stamp, or some other one.
