Default Huggins & Scott Auction Pick-Ups

Did anyone pick up anything interesting in last night's Huggins & Scott Auction? I was lucky enough to win one item, the M101-1 Sporting News Supplement - Vic Willis at a pretty reasonable price, I think.

I placed a bid on the e92 Dockman set a few days ago and it ended up holding up through the end. I really only bid on the lot to get a couple cards so I'll have plenty of extras if anyone is interested.

Thanks guys,
Brian

I've got a new nominee for worst card ever. What's up with that Frank Chance? All we see is someone's back! And what exactly is he doing? To defend the Dockman's, some of the other poses are really great.

Nice pick up Craig, you got me.
I still want to know how the T206 O'Hara St. Louis
went for $3000.

Very annoyed with myself! Was gonna bid on something I REALLY intended on winning, and just discovered that I was about 20 minutes too late getting my initial bid in. Damn that fine print! To whoever wins the Aguilitas Cristobal Torriente: If you'd like to discuss a resale...

Congratulations Craig and Scott on the Magie and Plank...those are awesome!

I won the T3 Eddie Collins tonight.

That leaves me needing Speaker and Young (and technically Baker) to finish my T3 HOFers.

Default guys

Congrats on the great pick ups....especially Scott and Craig on 2 great cards.....Personally I am a Leader Novelty person and that Foxx is awesome...I actually like how it is a tiny bit miscut on one side, showing the other card that was attached. Nice one guys!!

Thanks very much guys for the messages ... I know that the Plank is an altered card, but my goodness I held it in my hand and just had to own it -- it looks that good!

I also owe a bunch of people responses for the T206 commons that I had listed....please bear with me while I sort through cards and messages.

Regards,
Scott

Scott,

Fortunately for you, it's late and Barry's not still up. Please... please... don't ask this board to "bare" with you!

I'm just drooling over the Magie and Plank.. wow.

I have to stop going to bed early.
plus, I probably need to make a little more $$$.
perhaps there is a connection.

I was fortunate enough to hold the Plank card (and write the description). It's very difficult to discern the alteration. Congrats to the lucky winner!
