can't tell if that Ruth is genuine or not. However extremely cool if so.

I own the statue portion only, and I know Mike H from this forum also has one. So they're rare but not impossibly so. It was also used by Spalding, as a trophy on a tall pyramid base.

As for the piece in question, it was likely put together by an individual either within the A's organization or was sourced out to him/her. Kind of a folk-art feel to it. Try to post a better close-up of the Babe's autograph. An unusual medium for him to sign, but seems unlikely that a forged would attempt it (much less think of it).
