Default 1949 Bowman Question

I recently acquired a 1949 Bowman Duke Snider RC that has a rough edge as a lot of 1949 Bowman have but it also has a spot on the same rough edge that has some red coloring. I'm curious if the coloring is from another card from the sheet or from another source? Has anyone seen this before with 1949 Bowman cards? I sent it for grading so I don't currently have pictures.

Thanks!

All 1949 Bowman Snider cards have a rough edge. Snider's card was an end card on the printed sheet.
As shown in my simulated 7th sheet picture......

Regarding the "red dot"......I have seen this on other 1949 Bowman cards. But, not on a Snider card.
