Default 1948 leaf football

Hey guys,
Am I crazy to attempt this set raw? I know a ton of these cards are trimmed and are notorious for poor centering, but I have a chance to purchase a few of the key cards in raw nice condition and was wanting anyone's input. I guess maybe it isn't as big of a deal if I am keeping them raw? And they get rather pricey graded and my checkbook is still stinging a bit or a lot from the 1935 Chicle set. Thoughts?
Thanks!

Not crazy but expect to find out you've purchased quite a few that are trimmed in the end. As long as you're good with that, go for it!

jeff

P.S. I have some doubles ;-)
