Default Topps Doubleheaders - I'm Hooked!

Just picked up my first two 1955 Topps double-header baseball cards; #33-34 and 35-36. I love the artwork and the stadium backgrounds, and although there is no way I could afford the whole set, I thought it might prove interesting to acquire a series of the cards that show the same stadium continuation background.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for these cards?

Default Double Headers

I have the set but put it together several years ago. One neat thing about the set is that if the cards are placed side by side in reverse numerical order you get a single stadium scene. And, folded or open each card has 2 different stadium scenes.

Also, due to an unopened box on the market not long back, unopened packs are fairly easy to find. But not much suspense since the player in the penny packs can be seen through the wrapper

The 132 players ( 66 X 2) all appear in early in the regular 1955 set

Some scenes go from daytime to night time as you lay them out in panorama. The pictures in DH are all taken, I believe, from the smaller shot on the player's 1955 regular card. Is's a great set!

Default Unique

They are very unique, and don't seem to be that plentiful. Very colorful. The only thing I don't like is the players seem a bit cartoon-ish...

The way the cards blend is seriously cool. I have the Spahn and Aaron and they are my favorite cards for both players. What do you think a set of these, around vg condition, would run?
