Default t204 Ganley from Ebay - why did this end so high?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-T204-RA...vip=true&rt=nc

When I first saw this t204, I thought it might be one I could win for around $100 or less. It ended at $307. It's not a TTT back....not a player from Boston or any team that might have a small premium attached to it. Checked the SGC Pop reports and there's at least 30 cards with a lower pop-count than Ganley....

Any thoughts on why this one went for as much as it did?

Only two bidders over $51.
Bodes well for picking up one later in your range.

Default i was the seller

And I have no idea. when it was bid up to 177.00 I checked the population reports at sgc and PSA to see of maybe he was tough to find card but no, Ganley is in line w other graded commons.

I was going to ask the buyer who paid quickly but i didn't. I still may.

Absolutely no shill bidding. I'm not built that way.

Happy Collecting.

This was a headscratcher result, but it only takes 2 eager bidders, so I'm not reading anything else into it. The T204 Ganley can be found and usually at a much lower price for that grade. I know that one of his relatives buys his cards, but I'd guess they already have this one.
