Nice Banks on the 1960 sheet. For some reason, it's always difficult to find a vintage Ernie Banks in nice conditon.

Look back at the Yankee manager's thread. Now decide -- who was uglier, Johnny Keane or Don Mossi? Those have to be the two ugliest portraits ever to appear on baseball cards.

Of course,in more modern times, any close up of willie mcgee on a baseball card must qualify for "Dear Lord...look away!" status. I'm no supermodel,but geesh was this guy ugly.
Man,though,could he slap those singles! McGee was a good hitter....

I grew up in St Louis, went to the Series in 82 and 85 ( 64 , 67 and 68 too) and am a huge Willie fan ( with thanks to the Yankess for sending him our way), but have to agree that he looks like ET on a bad day
