Default Heilmann, Coveleskie & Youngs ... HELP ME !!

Posted By: HalleyGator

OK guys and gals, I need your collective help...

I have tried begging and pleading ... but I cannot for the life of me get PSA to grade these strip cards ... and I NEED some PSA "gradable" cards of these 3 HOF'ers to complete my HOF set in the PSA set registry:

[img][/img]

I am willing to part with these guys and obviously some cash ... if ANY of you can hook me up with ANY decent cards of Harry Heilmann, Stan Coveleski and Ross Youngs that are in the categories that PSA grades (20's exhibit cards, E cards, Ice Cream cards).

Do any of you know anyone that has any of these and is willing to sell ??? THANKS!!!

And "YES" ... I of course still need PSA gradable cards of Ed Delahanty and Bid McPhee as well ... but you guys are probably tired of hearing me beg for those guys.

PS - Kevin Struss from Mastro has informed me that there will be a Delahanty in the April auction ... so I am starting EARLY with my pleas to all of you to LET ME GET IT!!!!

Hal--I am thinking about breaking up a Collins McCarthy set that has a beautiful Heilman in it(actually--a Boston Store card). If I sell the PSA6 Jackson on ebay(about $1000 from the reserve)then I'll break up the set. I will know on Tuesday evening or sooner. This card is very gradeable.

Hal-

If you've got the time and the desire, I think that PSA grades Colgan's Chips cards. And I think that ole' Stanely is included in that set.

Also, there are Exhibits of both Stanley and Mr. Ross Youngs.

Sets of all of the above can be found in Mr. Lipset's auction. There is one Exhibit set with Ross Youngs, one Colgan's Set and three Exhibit sets with Covelski.

You would have to break lots of stuff up -- but it could help you with "completion".

Marc

I think the one in the Colgans Chips set is Harry, not Stan.

Thanks for letting me know about the Lipsett auctions, but I am hesitant to buy a whole set for these 3 cards...

BUT IF ANYONE HERE DOES BUY THOSE SETS ... PLEASE know that I am here to buy your Stan Coveleskie and/or Ross Youngs cards.

Are you sure that you still have an E135 Heilman? I think that you already sold it to me, unless you have another one.

Hal,

Depending on the condition of the Delahanty, you may have some competition. I'm looking for a low to mid grade example. I won't get in your way for the E135's. I've already got the Hornsby, Heilman, and Rice.

I just found out that the Old Judge Ed Delahanty in the Mastro Auction is an Old Judge Cabinet (N173). I thought that you might be interested.

I need a PSA "gradable" card of Delehanty, and they don't grade cabinet-sized cards ...

Maybe one of you guys will win the Delahanty cabinet and sell me your N172 Delahanty???

Maybe you can use your "HOF set" as pull to get them to make a larger holder.
