Pretty neat story. This thrift shop is about 10 minutes from my house...

It's great that the guy recognized something different and interesting about that bat. Otherwise, it might have been lost.

A similar bat that sold for $1900 was auctioned at REA in the spring of 2009---when the economy was pretty weak! This one ought to bring considerably more.
