Default 1972 Topps - Leave it to Billy

I was considering putting together this set in "proof" form and was looking at the various cards. 1972 was the last "large" set before successive sets were pared to a more manageable size.

I just noticed this card (see Martin's left hand on bat). Leave it to Billy....

Has anyone else noticed this before?

Yes it's part of a long tradition dating back to Old Hoss Radbourn (This is a vintage board anyway)

the story I have heard since I always liked this card was that the photographer asked billy to give him a managerial pose, that's what he got.
