Default 1942 Sporting News Braves 8 x 10 Spahny?

Do you guys think the taller guy in the middle row, with the big nose, might be Warren Spahn? He was on the team for a few games that season but this guy looks older than 21 yrs old, which is how old Warren would have been. I don't think he is on the photo and someone else thinks he is. I am not that great at facial recognition some(most)times. I don't own this photo, btw..

It does and Lombardi makes more sense since he was tall at 6'3". Thanks!

No Spahn, but lots of interesting players here. Besides Lombardi, I see Paul Waner, Casey Stengel, George "Highpockets" Kelly, Max West, Tommy Holmes, Tony Cuccinello and Johnny Sain.

And the guy in civilian clothes, standing at the left end of the center row, is longtime Red Sox outfielder Duffy Lewis, of the famed Tris Speaker-Harry Hooper-Duffy Lewis outfield. He was a coach with the Boston Braves 1931-35, and was the Braves' travelling secretary 1936-1961. He may have been the only person who witnessed both Babe Ruth's first and last major league home runs (as his Red Sox teammate in 1915, and as a Braves coach in 1935).
