I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

Darren we need a term for a question that self-destructs once it is answered.

This is just between you and me, the OP was inquiring about the current owner of a graded 1962 Jell-O Robero Clemente complete box if I remember correctly.

I am very blessed to have what I do. Believe it or not, I am not that caught up in the master set (having the #2 set notwithstanding) - I am friendly with the other master set holders. I am collecting "my way" - the master set just happens to be one way I choose to share part of my collection with others who are interested. Now if I could just replace the 1962 Pittsburgh Exhibit I sold a number of years ago.........

Since Jolly’s voyeurism needs sating:

Now that the auction is over, and Howard won it, I can safely share that he was looking for this piece, which was about to come to auction when he posted his question.

1962 Jell-O Roberto Clemente (Complete Box) #173 PSA EX 5 -- Rare Intact Box. ... https://sports.ha.com/itm/baseball-c.../50063-80856.s

Luckily, I had stumbled across the auction preview for this listing, and alerted Howard that it was coming up soon in response to this thread. Naturally, not wanting to out an auction in which he was planning to bid heavily, Howard chose to attempt to hide his tracks, to varying levels of success, as some people had already seen and remembered his original post.

If I’m not mistaken, Howard has previously posted that this piece is one of his white whales. So congrats on landing it!
