Default on site grading

I need to cross over an sgc graded card to psa. At a show, such as philly, will they do it right then and there? I figure if I can save the $18 shipping charge then I can just wait for the next philly show.

Are you a member of PSA's club?

Before they will grade a card, crossover or not, you will need to be a member of PSA's Collectors Club. The lowest level is $110 for the year, but that includes 6 "complimentary" gradings. I don't know if that would include crossovers. I would assume so, but I'd like somebody to confirm that please.

For several years now PSA has not had that strict policy - you do not have to be in the PSA Collectors Club to submit cards for grading.

My understanding is that you have to be a Collector's Club member to directly submit to PSA. When did this change? Last I looked about six months ago, that was still on their website.

No, it hasn't been that way in the long time; at least since 2009 when I got back into cards.

I've been to the Philly Show a few times in the last year and my recollection is that PSA does not grade on-site there.
