Default should there be a BST for this space only?

Do you guys think we should make the "other vintage sportscards" space, in this section, into a BST (Buy/Sell/Trade) for this side? ...I wouldn't want to add yet another category and that one might not get much use....and the hockey link will be put up on the links page in the next week...... This was just a thought?

I vote yes. Different crowd, different B/S/T

I've always thought it would make sense to put a "Pre-1980" forum in the current B/S/T area. There is already a "1930s to 1950s" forum in the B/S/T area, so this would be right in line with that (in other words, there is already a non pre-war forum there).

I would bet most people reading this forum right now are folks who collect both pre-war and pre-1980 stuff (like me). I usually like to go to the B/S/T area and read all of the forums there. I would love to have the pre-1980 forum there, so I could check that one at the same time.

Of course, I would not think it too unfortunate if there was a B/S/T forum in the Pre-1980 area, which was separate from the main B/S/T area. It will just be nice to start trading in these cards -- I have things I've got queued up for eBay and would be happy to try here first. And, I'd love to start buying pre-1980 cards from other N54 members.

my vote is to have one B/S/T (the current one), and add a pre-1980 link to it. Just seems to make the most sense organizational-wise IMO.

I will check into what can be done next week. I will see if we can fit another category on the main BST pages.....also, should that category be all Sports post-war or only baseball post war? Are we making it too broad of a category if it were "all" post war sports? I sort of liked the BST on this forum page but whatever will work best is fine...and I need to see how cramped another category on the main BST will be as it might not even be an option....thanks again

Leon:

I think you could probably combine the golf/boxing/other categories here which leaves 2 slots for BST, one for BB and one for the rest. The BB post war board is clearly pulling more messages and views than the others.
