Default Jacklitsch...Meyer... or a catcher to be named later

Here's another example of players being identified incorrectly from one set to another while using the same artwork.

The first scan shows a E101 from 1909 identified as Fred Jacklitch while the second card is a Tango Eggs card from 1916 identified as Billy Meyer.

Thought this was interesting....I'm guessing the earlier set had it correct as Fred Jacklitsch.

Any thoughts?

Patrick

Love that Jacklitsch, I believe the earlier version is correct also.

Default Scrambled Eggs?

Here is another example that I remembered involving E101 and the Tango Eggs. Tinker and Weaver.

Scrambled Eggs for sure.

Default Tango Eggs

Patrick,

Here is a quick link to a story on this set.

I believe there are some board members here who either know about or were part of the find.

Default Re: Jacklitsch...Meyer... or a catcher to be named later

Here's another example. He's Knabe in the earlier sets.
