Default Another of of those Mantle threads

Usually I'm pretty good with picking out goods Mantles, but this one has me confused. I don't like the beginning M, but the last name looks OK. A co worker owns this and I'm interested in buying it.

Any help on this one? Thanks

I'd have to stay away from it as well. Just not fond of the "ick" all pointing the same way. Not a fan. If the ick is wrong, It's icky. Better than your average dime store phony however. Let's also not forget the "a" is as big as the "M". My eyes are hurtin, I'm not seeing it.

For modern autographs that I don't know well, I would ask for the history of the item - that often tells you all you need to know.

Not an expert on the Mick, but it looks way too deliberately written and 'upright,' for lack of a better term. Not natural at all.

This is not genuine, albeit a better attempt than most.
