It's already pretty pricey, but it sure looks nice.

Speaking of 19th CenturyOnly, besides advertising Seth's ebay auctions, what does that site contribute?

Almost every e-mail digest comes with the usual 4 seth messages.

Would like to see the Realized Auction Prices (The R.A.P. Sheet)offered on the site.

made up of all the 19th century cards reported owned by members), and a direct connection to ALL 19th century cards being offered on E-Bay under "for sale."

People announce their auctions, ask questions.

Why you guys so negative about 19th century only?

I suppose it is the junk mail marketing and the lack of any content in the junk mail.

Well, since we're being honest....I recently signed up with them. I couldn't be more disappointed, personally. I see it as a mere tool for him to pawn his own stuff. And, in truth - if I want to find a card on Ebay - I don't need to pay someone to give me a link. I can find it all on my own. This is simply my opinion - they just haven't come close to meeting my expectations. And - yes, I am very tired of the constant junk mail. Sorry, Seth.

Besides that insightful article............... Leon-I guess my point is that the vast, vast, vast majority of the emails I get are just Seth hawking his material and asking for articles. Seth is trying to do the 19th century only version of spontaneous generation and it just don't work. No content translates to no interest.

Agreed. Once they started to charge for their "services", I was out of there. It's almost as asinine as paying to post on a forum.

Hmm, the last PSA 5 Anson sold for about 120% SMR. Such a beautiful set, however.

I'd never thought of it as junk mail. O yes, nor as interesting as Scott's "Vintage Links."

There've got to be some interested people out there if his "population report" is honest. I know he didn't get several thousand Old Judges reported from ME.

Oh, and I see some of you aren't above bidding on the N162 Anson.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I pay $6 or $7 dollars each month for netwerk54etc. Seth charges $14 every half year. Also, he gave away a bunch of T-shirts with the Mayo photo of Anson on the front and the N162 Glasscock on the back. He was going to charge a nominal price, but changed his mind.

whatsamattau?

Julie, I sure hope you (or anybody else) are not paying $6-7 /month to Network54, because I sure don't know anything about it. Feel free to write cheques personally to me, though.

I couldn't dial up Vintage Basseball bards; something kept asking me if i wanted to join Network 54. At first I thought it was $2; then it said $6. I sorta figured something was wrong, since nobody complained, or even commented, but--they take the dough right out of my checking account; how do i get them off me?
