Default My cards' journey acroos America

My order departed Edmonds , WA. on May 16th ....
It arrived at Harrisburg , PA. on May 18th....
Next it arrived at Lancaster , PA on May 19th....
Then it arrived & departed Albany , N.Y. on May 20.....
It arrived in Springfield , MA. also on the 20th.....
And now I have no idea where it's at , as the tracking reads:
Depart USPS Facility UNKNOWN .

I live in South Jersey ,
it looks like my cards are on one of those "See America Tours"

I hate those "tours". I have a very expensive(to me) card not show any movement/updates in 9 days. BLEEP I hope it shows up soon because I can't afford to take the hit if it doesn't show up.

One of the last cards I ordered went from Texas to South Carolina before heading to Wisconsin 3 days late. I had another card go from California to Texas then New Jersey before going to Wisconsin. It would be nice if I could take some of the trips my cards have taken.

I had one go to Amsterdam in the Netherlands before coming back to the US and getting to me. Took about 3 weeks IIRC. Origin was California I think, bound for NY.

No shipment is complete without a tour of the Black Hole of Kearny. Many go in, most come out. Eventually. If you're lucky.

Is this generally limited to the USPS, or do UPS and FedEx provide these tour services also?

Just my experiences.

I have easily had over 10K USPS card related transactions. About 10% have had some type of delay, have only had one go missing and never show up.

Never had a single problem with a few hundred UPS transactions.

BLEEP Fed Sux, I do everything possible not to ever send or recieve anything through them. I have only had around 100 transactions through them and easily 50% of them was a PIA. When was working I had a few mailing addresses home, work(X3), ect, for some reason they would try delivering it to the wrong address. More than once they would scribble out the correct(for the package) address and try to deliver it to a different one.

They collude on local tours.

Ordered something on Amazon, two day shipping.

Tracking?
From where it was to the UPS facility in Chelmsford, Ma. Overnight. Cool, must be out for delivery!
Nope
delivered at the end of the day to the Chelmsford post office.
Delivered the next day by my regular mail carrier - In Lowell Ma.

I live a few minutes from the UPS place. If it had been a straight UPS shipment, I'd have had it the next day, but noooo it had to go somewhere else for a day cant have the 2 day shipping get delivered early...

Shout out to Edmonds, WA, the former home of Pacific Trading Cards when they were a shop only!

Looks like I have cards that went from NC to Jersey City to Kearny, out of Kearny and then back in. Like a frightened turtle.
Let's see what happens next...

I just bought a card from a dealer in Michigan USPS decided it needed to go to Pittsburgh. Maybe someone in Pittsburgh knows more about shipping cards than the Michigan postal workers?
