I know this has probably been done before, but here are two of my favorites: a Paul Thompson photo and a T207 of Cicotte.

In the T3 of Burns did anyone notice his glove has 6 fingers?
With that, and the backwards glove on his T206 card is it safe to say the card artists didn't like this guy?
Maybe Sleepy was in on the fix so he get the loot for a proper glove?

Oh, and Chase undoubtedly knew. He was with many of the planners of the fix before it occurred...and certainly knew about it. Whether he made any money from it is a more difficult question to answer.

And you guys have some great cards, love the McMullen Zeenut. It would be in my top dozen of desired cards.

Ahh, I wish Steve.....
There's an SGC88 up for auction at the moment on MileHigh, and recently an SGC96 was added to the pop. Don't know about PSA.
Still, my only pre-war card graded above a 3, so he kind of stands out .

Daniel

This is quite a stretch but I believe Lefty Williams was on this Sacramento club just before joining the Sox.

how is Hal Chase implicated in the Black Sox scandle?

Does it look like he really was involved, or did they just want to throw another crooked name into the pot?

and a bunch of T200s with blacksox guys (did I miss a t200?).....

Joe, Can I suggest the book "A Prince at 1st"... Ed Dinger, Hal was involved in everything crooked. A real POS, but an incredible talent.

for a quick bio; http://z.lee28.tripod.com/therest/id38.html

The scandal was linked with lots of players. Bennie Kauf was thrown out of baseball - because of an off the field scandal regarding a stolen car (which he was found innocent of in a court of law), but he was also somehow linked to the 1919 series fix and Landis threw him out.
