I picked one up last week when at least forty were ending at the same time. Very odd.

I noticed that at well. How dumb does a seller have to be to auction all of those at once? Why not release them one at a time?

Well, according to the PSA statistics, they have graded over 8,700 of those cards and 5,114 have received the Gem MT 10 grade. There are a lot of them out there to begin with.

I believe that the flood of Chippers might be due to people breaking cases of '91. Interest in the Glow/Non Glow & Bold/Non Bold.

The Chipper rookie to have is his '91 Desert Shield card in high grade, then perhaps a top-grade Topps Tiffany of the same year (about 3,000 print run, smaller than Desert Shield's 6700 or so, but more available in higher grades). Passed one of the former up at last year's National after already spending my limit, but wish I'd picked up that one!

Best to all,

Larry
