Default Olympics - Laugh of the day!

Just heard them say on TV that 49 of the 50 US States have snow on the ground, somewhere. (Only Hawaii misses out.)

Yet the Olympics kick off tonight as they truck snow into Canada!

Yes we have several inches on the ground here in Atlanta and all of the weatherphobes have headed to the grocery to stock up on provisions. BONUS: Not the usual 45 minute wait at the restaurant of choice on Friday night. Should be a very interesting (and brisk) 3 mile jog tonight!

No snow in Seattle, but nearby Mt. Ranier has snow year round. I can see it when I go downtown.

Here in eastern PA, we just had 2 major storms in 5 days giving a total of up to 40". Now they are calling for 6-12" more Monday night. That's what they said about the first 2 storms a couple days before they came.

Vancouver is moderate weather wise. It's not Calgary or Saskatoon.

I hear it's a great city, though.
