Default Seeking opinions from "Baseball Game" collectors...

At what price do you think that this game, in this high-grade condition, would still be considered a "good buy?"

Not sure what a good buy is: Mark Cooper's book on Baseball games has a price guide that uses prices codes A thru H. In the back of the book he lists the game code as D-E. ( D = $600 - $1000, E = $1000 - $2500)

The game also included an 8 x 10 picture of Robinson with facsimile autograph.

The book was printed in 1995.

I would guess because of the poor economic times the price would at the middle of the prices above. Of course I am not an expert on the game and more bidders could drive the price up.

I'm afraid this one has already exceeded "good buy" status. The next bid takes it to $1,100 and with their 20% commission, the least you could pay is $1,320. Perhaps others will disagree but that seems high to me.

This game (in typical VG-EX condition) has been selling for $300 - $400 in recent years. Legendary is claiming this to be the best example on the planet... so it all depends on what you're willing to pay for such an elite example. I don't know if the term "good buy" can even apply to this one...

In fact, I have a feeling that the number of "good buys" in this particular auction will be "few and far between". The initial bidding is insane... with a week still to go, many of the lots are already sitting at prices where you'd expect them to end up.

If I misunderstood the question (and you have access to a different Jackie Robinson Game - in equal or nicer condition to the Legendary example) then I would say anything under $800 might constitute a good buy. I really don't think it's like Cards- where someone pays 10 times more for a PSA 9 than a PSA 5. Just my 2 cents....
