(Mine is poor, so I'd stolen scan from YSC)

Value aside; E95 for the Cobb and Cicotte. The artist added great, realistic shading.

But I love this set E90-1s and this Cyclone in particular for the Classic Red Sox threads.

honorable mention to the - 1914 Cracker Jack set - which I am sure I will go after at some point.
(no scans to show - I don't have a card from this set.)

Tough call, but I would place E92 first, followed closely by E90-1.

Simply because I enjoy the challenge of completing set....and, to acquire all 120 cards in this set
is really tough. I am now working on a 2nd set.

Nice cards, Tony.....especially the Bill Sweeney.....he is tough to find in any condition.....along with
Clarke (Pitts), Duffy, Mike Mitchell, Speaker and 20+ others from the last series.

I completed my 1st set 10 years ago when these cards were much more affordable.

At the rate these E-cards are being priced nowadays, I doubt if I will complete this 2nd set.

Keep collecting the E90's....you'll have a great sense of accomplishment when you complete this set.

I have shown them before but I can only think there are different very cool E sets and not better (only my opinion). I am not sure how there can be a neater looking e-card than these? Completion is almost impossible though.

Hi Ted -
Im actually lucky enough to have already snagged a Clarke (Pitts), Duffy, & Speaker, but am finding out some of the commons are a bear. Shean, Seigle, Unglaub, Stovall, Lobert, Lumley, Mcintyre, Richie, Dougherty are some just to name a few. If anyone has any of these and would consider selling, let me know. I'd love to discuss. Thanks much,

Tony Andrea

I like the E93's the best followed by E90-1. E95 Merkle is still one of my favorites though!

Look at those background colors!

and cartoon images is what started me on "E" cards!
Bill K you best stay away from landscape paintings if you like those E-90-3 backgrounds as that could be a very, very expensive hobby even compared to cards!

I like the E93s best. The E93 Waddell is probably my all-time favorite card. No point in posting my PSA 4 right after Jim's near mint example.

The E93s are my choice as well - of course, the low grade e93s can be pretty nice as well:

W503...it really should be an "e" set. The set has mostly(all?) unique poses and they are really tough to find.

I really like the e121 series of 120. Classic looking card and some great history with the set. Ruth has 3 different poses and that is classic baseball.

I've always liked e90-1s (don't own any though) e93s, e94s (don't own any), e97s (don't own any) and e98s. My favourite caramel has always been the e98 Mathewson, and the e94 Young and Wagner.

They aren't pretty, but it doesn't bother me If anyone has a red or green version in poor shape, i'd be very internested !! I'll be getting the orange one in the mail probably in a few weeks.

Probably E96. But from the other sets I have favorite individual cards:

E95 Cobb
E93 Phillipi - I love the fade in the purple background.

Any E95 with the blue-sky-with-clouds background - any other vintage cards have that?

Any E90-1 with the multi-blue sky background (Oakes, O'Leary, Jordon, etc). I saw one on ebay though with a similar background but primary color was pink, not blue. Wow.

Overall though, E96.

Joann

I've always loved the E107s, and think those are the most important E cards. But we hardly ever see them and when they are offered they are always cost prohibitive.

E125 diecuts are probably my other favorites.

SGC is slabbing these now, but, unfortunately, SGC does not have custom holders.

E92 Nadja. I've always liked them. Not sure why. I've had the Bresnahan in a 5 for many many years. Never to be sold.

Hey Leon, With the exception of you'r Davis-Could the others be from the same sheet?-They all have the big bottom border and very little top border. Are all red back Croft Candy one of a kind cards??

Hey Bob,
I had a dupe, that I sold, of a red back Crofts so they aren't unique. I am not sure why they are so scarce. I got 5 of mine from one guy....in a clandestine transaction, in a grocery store parking lot, near where I live...about a year or two ago....Not sure but my guess is that red ink was either expensive, in short supply, or something?? I doubt they came from the same sheet but every one I have seen has been quite o/c... best regards

Is it possible the red back Croft's were redeemable for something or other? Might explain their rarity.
