Greg, fair point. We'll give David 2:1 odds because of that.

Please cut Bruce some slack and give credit where credit is due: Instead of e-mailing wishes of death to someone -- as he usually does -- this time he has posted in a public place for all to see.

That's progress. I suppose.

Making money.

They were one of just two teams to lose money in 2008. Detroit has an excuse but New York? Must be the small market factor.

Also figures that they are the most highly leveraged. 95% debt level is similar to the worst of recent mortgage originations. No wonder they are whacking ticket prices. Can't service the debt without people in the seats!

I think Bruce's obituary has a much better chance of getting in--Atkatz is an asst prof and based on info Jeff has come up with for the board--a crappy one at that; he would not even have a job if tenure did not exist. Bruce is world renowned in private equity and is friends with Yogi Berra.

Bruce is quite possibly the best forum persona/troll I have ever seen on a message forum. Magnificent.

Another gratuitous insult from that master of high finance, Jim Crandell.

Long, long after we're both dead and gone Jim, I will (at the least) be remembered for my published research, which exists at every physics library in every country throughout the world. Perhaps, even then, as today, my work will continue to be cited by working physicists.

What will you be remembered for, Jim? Helping to drive your company out of existence? Or perhaps owning the greatest number of slabs of clear plastic? When PSA disappears (as it surely will, eventually) your entire raison d'etre dies along with it.

Here's to a life well spent.

Well now I think that makes 4 members of the Dorskind Deathwish Club.

IIRC Jay Behrens was the charter member. Although I think I may be the most famous member of the club since it made the New York Daily News.

Ha Ha Azkatz--go back to your asst prof position and work on your student rankings--what an ignorant fool you are.

Jeez Crandell... is that your best?

If you're an example of their "talent," it's no wonder Lehman went belly up.
