Default T3 Turkey red size

Did the Turkey Red's vary in size slightly? I have an Addie Joss a 16th short L/R but can't tell if it's been trimmed compared to my McGraw.

Also, would they be worth having them graded? Joss would grade a 3-4 and the McGraw a 4-5.

Thanks,
Larry

I believe all T3's need to be submitted to PSA at the $75 service level, so that may help you make the decision about whether or not it's worth it to grade. I would think that a 1/16th of an inch would still be okay on a card that large, but you could email PSA ( info@psacard.com ) to get their thoughts.

Hi Larry,

T3s definitely vary slightly in size. I was holding a stack of about 30 of them today, all fresh to the hobby and unaltered, and their relative sizes were all over the board. That being said, T3s are certainly found trimmed at times. I can only say that it's usually fairly easy to tell a trim on these.

In terms of grading, $75 is a very tough pill to swallow (c'mon PSA, give us a break!). However to get top dollar on a sale, having them graded is a necessity.

Hope that helps.

Happy Collecting!

Inflation. Sounds like a great deal.....sort of ....SGC will get you just as much money on these, especially if not a super high end registry set card.

Thanks for the replies. I don't plan on selling them so I may just send them in for better holder than the 8x10 top loader.
