It's a 1989 ball.
Vance Law was with the Cubs in 1988 and 1989, and Dean Wilkins was with them in 1989 and 1990. I just noticed Goose Gossage on the ball. He was with the Cubs only in 1988, so it may not be a pure 1989 ball. The Cubs released him on March 28, 1989, so the ball could have been signed in spring training. Steve
