Default Cards that make you scratch your head?

Posted By: John

We always seem to beat up on grading companies for giving out too nice a grade, a card that looks like a 1 that receives a 4 you get the picture.

So what about the cards that look like 7,8’s that get graded really low. You’ve been over the card a thousand times and just can’t figure why it got the hammer. Have em’ share em’ here’s mine.

Not beating up grading companies’ time just post the ones that made you scratch your head.

Nope Quan no crease line, I’ve been over the card many times it’s more like a surface imperfection, almost like pressure was applied and made a line. It doesn’t break the paper or show on the back. The only way I can describe it is its almost like if you write real hard with a ballpoint pen and it leaves an impression on the surface below. Back is clean and clear.

Not here to argue if the grade is warranted just a thread to show really nice under-graded cards, or cards that are stellar examples of their grade.

John,

I had a similar thing happen with my white cap Matty when
i received an sgc 2 for the best looking front i've ever seen.
admittedly, the back had some problems, but still not enough
to drop me so severely.
is the back of your card as wonderful as the front?

all the best

John, You shouldnt be stuck with a card graded like that. I will gladly take it off your hands at a PSA 3 price........J/K...it is way too sharp for a 3. Out

I'm looking at this card on a 46" LCD screen set 1280x720 and I can't see this line. Guess I'm going blind.

If one buys the card, not the holder you can get some great deals.
Here is a HOFer I won from DSL for under $20.
Its a El Principe De Gales back that has some tiny paper loss & an imprint of a stamp mount or tape residue on the back...jay
