I come from the same part of town as DK Listing. I bought a set of 1948 Swell cards from them and even those were counterfeit. I have never bought anything else from them their autos are always a joke. They were not willing to refund me even after I proved that the Swell cards were counterfeit. A little info for you Chris as far as I know nobody that works for DK has an auctioneers license so they should not even be allowed on Proxibid to begin with.

James, so you're the one that left them that negative comment on YP about the counterfeit Swell cards.

Scott, we did get Proxibid to remove the entire catalog of auctions listed by LLP Auctions. Also realize, that their address is a box that resides in a UPS store.

Yes, I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I considered filing suit, but I am to busy running my own business for that.

Here's another great one from Proxibid: https://www.proxibid.com/asp/catalog.asp?aid=52565
All the balls come with COA's from Morales and Florida's own YMC Sports....
Also appears all the balls were signed with the same pen.

And this reoccurring beauty: https://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDeta...45411#topoflot

Had these same things in Tampa at a local auction. IDENTICAL Marino, Bauer/Skowron, and I believe Mantle/ DiMaggio.

Thing that drives me crazy with them is that they already had a great auction Rolex, coins, etc. They really did not need these!!! This is a much more practiced hand then what we were viewing before.

Default Aaron Joseph & Company Mickey Mantle CSC Collectibles

We have been exposing the forgeries listed by auctioneers under the Proxibid.com platform.

One of those auctioneers is Aaron Joseph & Company, Tallahassee FL who is selling some Mantle, Williams, DiMaggio, etc. forgeries with a COA from "CSC Collectibles."

Here is their YouTube video for the aforementioned items:

Default How about we end this thread

We were able to handle LLP Auctions, these others deserve their own scrutiny. We don't want to muddy the waters for outing these forgeries.

Jim, if you want to start a new thread on Aaron Joseph & Company, Dixon's Auction Inc., etc., I will certainly follow.

Jim, I think you're right. We should end it here. I'll be writing blogs for another site on the other sellers who use the Proxibid platform.

LLP Auctions, Tampa FL, just re-listed all of that crap under the Proxibid platform.

I had a feeling they were going to do that, that's why I checked the link again.

It looks like the LLP Auctions catalog reappeared but no one is able to bid on the auctions. Weird how the catalog reappeared.

Bidding begins in an hour and 44 minutes and ends Sunday. All they did is take out the COA pictures and they are in compliance. I am calling Proxibid.com about this in the morning.

I really can't believe they have the nuggets to re-list all of those items without the COA's... James, I can't wait to hear what Proxibid has to say...

I don't recall that the original photos had COA's showing. Description just said they had COA's. Same as now. All I see is they removed the Gehrig and added some more....

I certainly hope Proxibid removes those auctions and boots that seller. If not, I'm going to give them the kind of free advertising they won't like. I will give James time to convince them to pull that garbage.

They never had a COA picture.
Can you bid with them now?
It appeared you might not be able to bid.
The auction page states:
PASSED
This lot was not sold.

They use past tense,, not sold,, I think the auction is not active.

James, from what you posted over in the Proxibid thread, it doesn't matter if there is a photo of the COA or if it is verbally stated:

"Any sellers listing items that have been authenticated by the above organizations will have those lots removed from their auction. If any lots do not specify the authenticator and show a picture of the certificate/letter of authenticity, the lot will be removed from the auction. Additionally, Proxibid reserves the right to pull a lot from an auction if they find that the authenticator is not reputable."

The part about the photo just specifies that the seller cannot get away with showing the bad COA in a photo without mentioning it in the description.

of course they are...what did you think, they were going to have someone police their site like e-bay. They would have to hire a full time authenticator. To pull forgeries from that platform will not happen too quickly, but the work you all have been doing to get them to see the big picture is admirable!!!

Keep up the good fight all!

I just got a text from the auction company LLP that their autos have been authenticated and to stop harassing them. They said that the Gehrig was an error. I asked them who authenticated these items and there was silence.
