Default Show a card you've never shown!

Now most of us show off our favorite cards from time to time...isn't that part of what this board is all about?! Let's see some cards you've never shared before. I had to go scan this guy in...my only speaker! This is from the middle of Tris's career...he bat .378 in 1922...not bad!

Many collectors don't consider this a true baseball issue, but a novelty set. Babe died before the thing premiered, which may or may not have been a good thing.

The common version of the 1938 Goudey #246 Ernie Lombardi had Lombardi erroneously listed as a member of the Red Sox (he was with the Reds).

To remedy the situation, in the initial print run Goudey placed a hand stamp of a baseball over "s Sox" on the red border of the card.

At some point, Goudey corrected the error, correctly portraying him as being with the Reds. This version is much tougher to find than the one with the baseball overprint. I've never shown this one here.

Frank Warfield was a top Negro League secondbaseman throughout the 1920's - he also bit off Oliver Marcelle's nose!

.... but a classic none-the-less. In honor of a new member to the 600 club, I thought I would post this one, since I don't own a Griffey Jr.
