Default The Flying Dutchman

On May 2, 1909 (102 years ago) Honus Wagner steals his way around the bases to score one of the Bucs' six runs in the second half of a double-header sweep of Chicago.

Let's see some Honus Wagner cards, please!

Default honus

the '36 national chicle fine pen stares directly in front of me as i sit at my office desk. I placed it here to be reminded of the aging wagner who holding the ball in two hands with eyes cast downward exhibits wisdom and acumen that only he has known through many years of diligence, perseverance, and amazing skill and talent.

all the best,
barry

How many times was that same photo of Wagner (the one from the Colgan's Chips and the button posted by docpatlv) re-used? Obviously, it was also used on the T206. I seem to recall there being another near-identical tobacco card that used the same picture as well.

Any others?

I don't believe there is another T-card using that image. In fact, there are precious few T-cards of Wagner (part of the Wagner lore). The Kotton tobacco cards use the E90-1/E92 Wagner images.

Cheers,
Blair
