Default Poet Carl Sandburg Signed Imperial Cabinet Card w/JSA LOA

Posted By: davidcycleback

Original early 1900s about 9x12 inches gelatin silver imperial cabinet card photograph of Carl Sandburg, autographed/hand signed by Sandburg in black fountain pen on the bottom front mount. The signature is darker than appears in these pics. The bottom front right has a Chicago photography studio embossment. The right and top edge are neatly trimmed, and the mount has some wear including a crease. The photographic image, showing him signing at a public book signing, is sharp and clean with light silvering. Beyond the autograph, the photograph itself is rare and desirable. Sandburg won two Pulitzer Prizes and his North Carolina house and farm is a National Landmark. Comes with a LOA from James Spence Authentication. Price is $150 shipped. Money back guarantee of authenticity to the purchaser. Thank you.
