Default Muhammad Ali auto

Hi all. I just recently found and became a member of the site. Very cool. Too bad I just dumped my collection of over 150,000 sport and non-sport cards this past year. Anyway the reason for my post concerns an autographed photo of Muhammad Ali standing over I think Joe Frasier. It's the famous photo of him with his arm across his chest after knocking his opponent down. My problem is it's a great framed photo with a plaque and pictures and little boxing gloves. The major issue is it is certified by stat authentic llc. I had no idea of the bad reputation of the former company. I do now. In order to get it properly certified would cost me well over 100 dollars and I was wondering is it worth it? Are most autos certified by them bogus or did they do anything legit? I would appreciate advice from seemingly very credible sources like yourselves. Thank you for your time.
