Default 1936 Wide Pen/Fine Pen Premiums

I'm looking for some additional information on these. I know that the wide pens were distributed by Goudey at stores that sold the cards where you could exchange wrappers for them. How were the fine pens distributed? Were the wide pens distributed in some areas and the fine pens distributed in others?

Default Article on the subject

Hi John,

I published a long two-part article in Old Cardboard a few years back on the subject of the Fine Pens and Wide Pens. (Issues 6-7). Back issues may still be available. Check with the editor at oldcardboard.com

Best,
