Default RMY auction

Wow - what a great selection. I was particularly impressed with the 'Mantle/Maris 1961' pic, and the 'Ruth throwing' pic.

I did not win either, but I did manage to pick up the 1953 'Frozen Tundra' photo.

Who beat me out of that 'Prefontaine/Dwight Stone' picture?

Probably my new favorite auction house. And Rhys is top notch!!! I never knew I would enjoy pictures so much. I won 5 original Conlon's last auction. I won the 1918 clothed "nude" picture. Don't ask me why?? Will just look cool with a neat old frame in my living room....

Sure, your living room.

I picked up one of the 'Man-O-War' pictures to frame for my gf's birthday.

$H**, I forgot it was closing. Lost on some items I might have bid higher on. That photo of Babe Ruth and trainer Artie McGovern would have fit really well with my photos of McGovern training Gehrig and Jack Dempsey.

I'm normally only a 18th/19th century boxing collector. But I picked up the Joe Louis and the Michael Jordan photo.
