Default Ted Williams Secretrial Signatures

I have a few general questions if anyone has info or opinions.

I don't have any pics to upload, they're in my bank box and will upload when I can get to them.

During the early 70s I did a lot of TTM activity to players at their repsective ballparks. Results were mixed, some were obviously faked but the large majority were not and are probably real. All were returned from the cities where they were based.

One signee was Ted Williams. This would have been 1972 when he was managing the Rangers. Would Ted or the Rangers have employed someone to sign for him during the season at the Rangers offices? Or is that unlikely and the more likely case is that these signatures are real? Was Ted known to do this during the middle of a season?
