Default Jackie Robinson rare item - any help on this one?

I've recently picked up a piece I've not seen before. It is a Jackie Robinson Pocket Television Theatre ad card. It is the same dimension as a 1950 Bowman BB card. The top half shows a TV with an image of Jackie Robinson in a batting pose. The bottom half shows a list of the available flips. The back is an order form from Sylvan Sweets for the Flip-o-Vision Books. I've seen the flip books and know that they are tough but I can not seem to find anything on this. Please advise with any info. Thanks.

I have one of these also. I bought a Jackie Robinson How to Hit flip book a few years back, and this was included.

I am not sure if these came with the flip books or how these were distributed.

I have never seen another one. In my opinion it is a much rarer piece than the actual flip books.

On another note, I do not believe the How to Bunt book was ever made. I have never seen one.

Something else that is pretty cool, a few years ago I bought a proof page from the How to Hit book. It is about 50% larger and slabbed from Beckett.

Not sure but I find it interesting Topps used the same name for a 1949 Non Sports issue.

Default will PSA or SGC encapsulate?

I'm trying to also determine if the grading companies will encapsulate an item if they are not familiar with what it is

That is fantastic!

SGC might if you do some homework first and supply them with data from an auction or other source showing prior sales or information about the issue. I've had good luck with that approach.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the input. I was thinking SGC as well. I'm not sure I'll find much. Doing a search online revealed no sales. Usually, I'll find something - even if it's an 8 year old REA auction or something but nothing that I can find.

Default Robinson flip

The front of the flip book does not have the list of other flips on it.

I picked up one of the books and look forward to seeing Jackie in action.
